Giselle Vento is a community enricher, and positive connector through the arts. She
recently received the prestigious Yamaha’s 40 under 40 national award through her
service as a music specialist in the Waco ISD district. Giselle is the co-director of the
non-profit organization, Youth Chorus of Central Texas.

In her early years, Giselle participated in radio multimedia, and performed in El Palacio
de Bellas Artes in Mexico City through the choral ensemble inspiring her music career.
She has earned her certification of international educational leadership in Italy,
published her thoughts on immigration transition into the school system through the
magazine Southwestern Musician, and has performed in her hometown, Matamoros
Tamaulipas to successfully raise funds for the Arts.

Giselle sings and volunteers with multiple churches around town. She has performed in
opera and musical theater productions, and is in the process of writing her own.
