José Feliciano is a strategist, educator, and community development practitioner. He is the owner and lead consultant of Be Intentive LLC, a strategic consultancy that specializes in working with civic-minded and equity-focused organizations, groups, and individuals in arts, culture, and education.

In addition to his consultant work, José is social studies educator at the secondary and university level and currently serves as Board Chair for INTEMPO, a music and literacy organization, in Stamford, CT.

His experience strikes a balance between nonprofits; education; and community development. José’s experience focuses on project-based learning, social justice, and co-created experiences that include staff, students, parents, and community-based resources and organizations. His past work includes nonprofit administration and grant-making at the Greater Hartford Arts Council; public policy and civic engagement work; creating people-centered and place-based approaches; and leadership development for creative professionals.

He is always looking for new ways to collaborate.
