Terri Morris is a certified teacher of English and School Library Media Specialist. In the course of her career she has taught students at every level from pre-K through adult, most recently supervising clinical experiences for teacher candidates at Tennessee Tech University. Having relocated last year to Mountain City, Tennessee upon her husband’s retirement, she is now volunteering with the Johnson County Center for the Arts. A favorite activity of Terri and her husband is visiting art museums around the country and the world. Within the last several years they have been fortunate enough to view works at such varied locations as the Detroit Art Institute, the Kimbell in Fort Worth, the Metropolitan in New York, the Louvre in Paris and the Uffizzi in Florence. “I love traveling and seeing the work of the great masters from around the world and throughout history. Then I get to come home to the beauty of the mountains and the unique people, music and art of Appalachia. My appreciation for the power of art and the irrepressible creative spirit grows daily.”
