Nicolas Gonzalez currently serves as the Community Engagement and Education Manager for the Stamford Symphony. In this role, he is redesigning the community engagement and education programs, developing new partnerships with communities, and leading the diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives for the orchestra. He also serves as Board Chair for Sound Mind. As an arts administrator, he strives to make all arts programming accessible, interactive, and used as a service to others.
Nicolas holds an MA in Arts Administration, MPA in Nonprofit Management, Philanthropic Studies Graduate Certificate, and a BA in Film Production, all from Indiana University. Nicolas has previously worked at Chicago Symphony Orchestra, National Repertory Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Music for All, Indiana Arts Commission, the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, and the Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District at the City of Bloomington.
